In 2025, the RANZCP Foundation is offering three scholarships to encourage and support PhD research in psychiatry by RANZCP members. 

There are two (2) Barnett PhD Scholarships, made possible through the generosity of Dr Bryanne Barnett AM, and one (1) Foundation Partners PhD Scholarship supported by the generosity of RANZCP Foundation Partners.

Applications open Monday 1 September 2025, and close on Monday 20 October 2025.

You will need the following documentation to complete your application.

• Curriculum Vitae
• Proof of ethics - approval, or evidence of a pending application, to carry out your research
• At least one referee’s report
• Proof of enrolment
• Letter of support from your Supervisor and Research Group Leader
